Fundraising Group of the Year 2020
We were proud to be proclaimed Fundraising Group of the Year at Marie Curie’s Fundraising Excellence Awards 2020. In the tradition of football teams who have an open-top bus parade when they win an award or trophy, we had a virtual one!
Sainsbury's Pitwines Store, Poole
During the Covid pandemic, our Marie Curie nurses have been busier than ever at a time when Covid has restricted our fundraising activities to support them. We are particularly grateful to Sainsbury’s for thinking of our hard-working nurses and donating vouchers to support them.

Headline Act
June 2018
On a sunny evening, Zaneta chose to have her locks removed. A sizeable group of Marie Curie supporters, friends and colleagues gathered in Poole town centre to witness Zaneta’s “barber of choice”, undertake the task. Zaneta had chosen this route to raise money to fund the local Marie Curie nursing team who had provided care and support to her father-in-law during the last few days of his life.
Thank you so much Zaneta!
Coffee Morning
April 2018
On 20 April 2018, Miss Sandra Pringle and her sister hosted an outdoor coffee morning at home in Broadstone, to raise funds for Marie Curie. In addition to coffee, tea and a mouth-watering selection of delicious cakes, the event included a tombola and a raffle with an array of prizes to be won, and over £200 was raised.
